Membership

It doesn’t cost a penny to become a member! Just email us (chevinforest@gmail.com) to tell us that you want to become a member and we’ll add you to our mailing list. Being a member enables us to keep in touch with you about events and gives you an opportunity to contribute to our work on The Chevin. Every year we have an AGM at which you can attend and have your say.

Sponsorship

The Chevin is a true local asset, loved and used by the community.

There is no membership fee for becoming a Friend and it’s important to us to keep it inclusive to enable everyone who wants to to be involved.

Friends of Chevin Forest currently has no regular source of income and this consequently hinders our work. We understand that not everyone has the time to dedicate to volunteering – if you would prefer to make a financial contribution you can do so via our Crowd Funding page: https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/FoCF.

Funding we receive will allow us to continue to offer events free of charge and to develop new activities that introduce people to natural features of The Chevin, including:

• developing our history archive
• gathering oral stories of The Chevin
• developing new walks and way marking
• local projects intimated by community members and organisations
